Many consumers enjoy their eggs with soft yolks: poached, soft boiled, over-easy,the list goes on. But US consumers can’t find ready-to eat eggs with a soft yolk in quick serve restaurants or retail locations outside of traditional resturaunts or preparing their own at home, due to the challenge of preparing preparing pre-cooked eggs safely.
The egg industry would like to identify safe ways to prepare ready-to-heat and ready-to-eat eggs with liquid yolks.
We are seeking innovators to join our project team to develop new approaches for the egg industry.
About this project:
The project is expected to kick-off in January 2022 and complete in March 2022.
2-3 experts are needed for this project, to help research the landscape of relevant technology or U.S. food regulations, and develop new technical solutions.
Experts with food science, food processing, or US Food safety regulation expereince are preferred.
The team will develop new concepts collaboratively with our industry partner, propose new solutions, identify potential development projects, and describe the steps needed to test their ideas.
Experts are paid on a fixed fee basis.
