When we’re not writing bad jokes, we’re doing serious work to improve the taste, texture, and flavor of plant-based foods. Plant-based chicken is growing in popularity, but more work is needed to match the juicy texture, flavors, and aromas that consumers love.

We are seeking creative, technically savvy innovators to participate in a multi-disciplinary (virtual) team. As a team, innovators will develop new solutions to unlock plant-based processing challenges and deliver concepts for Chicken 2.0. Innovators should have a background in plant-based proteins, processing, formulation, fermentation, chemistry, molecular biology, or prior innovation work in related fields.
About this project:
The project begins December 8, 2021 and will complete in mid-February 2022.
3 experts are needed to join a collaborative (virtual) ideation team that will interact with our project sponsor.
The team will define new ingredient or processing concepts for plant-based chicken with improved taste and texture, and recommend steps to prototype and validate solutions.
Experts are paid on a fixed fee basis.
